Masterchef Season 7 Winner: Shaun O’Neale

This gallery contains 3 photos.

Masterchef season 7 has ended with a blast declaring SHAUN O’NEAL as the grand winner!

I have been following season 7 and curious on who would win in the finale. Brandi is also a good cook. I’m a little against David’s come back, then surprisingly he became part of the finale. But, I still respect the decision of the chef judges because they know better than I do in this field.

From the beginning, I’ve been rooting for this tattooed dj, Shaun, would really win the title of the Masterchef – Season 7. You can see his passion on cooking with great leadership. He presented really good food with great techniques and culinary artistry. His grand finale entree was really stunning and surely you can see that it sealed the victory for him.

CONGRATULATIONS CHEF SHAUN O’NEALE!

YOU REALLY DESERVE THE TITLE! Continue reading

#Recipe of the Day: Leftover Pancake Sandwich

Our family loves pancakes so much! However, sometimes (or most of the times), we overly estimate the quantity of pancakes to cook for everyone’s consumption. So, we tend to have left over pancakes. But we all know that pancakes isn’t good to eat anymore if it’s not hot or newly cooked, right? So here’s one good idea to avoid throwing leftover pancakes.

Why not make a pancake sandwich out of the leftover pancakes?! Nice? 🙂

You may put your leftover pancakes in a zip-lock, place it in refrigerator and prepare the pancake sandwich for your family as an afternoon snack or breakfast for the following day.

What you’ll need:

  • 2 pancakes
  • 1 egg
  • cooking oil
  • 1 sliced ham
  • 1 slice of cheddar cheese
  • maple syrup

Let’s get started!

  1. Heat frying pan over medium heat and put cooking oil.
  2. Fry/Warm the ham in the pan. Followed by the egg. Set aside.
  3. Toast the pancake in the toaster or oven.
  4. Assemble the pancake sandwich and put maple syrup before placing the top pancake piece.
  5. Serve and enjoy!

No more leftover pancakes! 🙂

Jolly Kiddie Meal’s GULP N’ GO TUMBLER

Hello Jollibee meal fellas!

Back-to-school promo isn’t done yet with our favorite Jolly Kiddie Meal! Instead of toy freebies, they are giving away lunch pack items for our kiddos:

  • Gulp N’ Go Tumbler
  • Bite Buddies Utensils
  • Lunch-A-Bowl

Among these, I have a personal favorite for my kids… It’s the:

gulp n go tumbler

You can get this freebie from Jolly Kiddie Meal’s Chicken-Rice combo for only Php 122! I prefer this best because kids can bring and use it anywhere we go (shopping, play dates, etc.). Plus, it has a no spill rubber inside the lid. Take a look:

Not only that, the whole gang is complete in one tumbler!

It’s really easy to use:

  1. Turn the cap in a counterclockwise manner to open.
  2. Pour water or your favorite drink into the bottle then close, and you’re ready to go!

Please note that it is NOT advisable to put hot liquid because it’s not a glassware. But DO NOT put in the freezer as well.

And because I have two kids, buying two items is always a BIG consideration. So, it’s been two consecutive lunches at the office that my meal is a Jolly Kiddie Meal. I bought one for my eldest yesterday and one for my youngest son today.

I can’t wait to show them my “pasalubong” so I sent the photos via Messenger. My simple happiness is seeing their happy faces. Sooooo lovely!

Haven’t had lunch yet? You may want to consider having Jolly Kiddie Meal for lunch. Then give the freebies to your kids and wait till you see their happy faces. 🙂
