Cheesy Lasagna Recipe

Lasagna are wide, flat pasta, with several layers alternating with delicious meat filling. You can actually feel like an Italian cook by making one at home and impress your family.


Extra cheese in your Lasagna will leave everyone wowed for hours.



455 g ground beef

1 tsp dried basil

5 tbsps butter

1 500g can of tomato sauce

1 can mushrooms, drained

4 cloves garlic, chopped

448 g lasagna pasta, cooked

3½ cups cheese, grated

¼ cup all-purpose flour

1 pc onion, chopped

2 packs all-purpose cream

1 pc beef broth cubes

salt and pepper to taste




  1. Red Sauce: Cook the ground beef in a hot pan. Add garlic, onion and beef broth cubes. Add the tomato sauce and mix.
  2. White Sauce: Melt the butter in a hot pan. Add all-purpose flour. Continue mixing the sauce for 7 minutes or until the color of the mixture becomes golden.
  3. Add cheese and mushrooms. Spread a thin layer of red sauce in a baking pan. Layer lasagna pasta followed by a layer of white sauce. Add another layer of lasagna pasta followed by another layer of red sauce. Continue this process until pan is filled. Cover the pan with aluminum foil.
  4. Bake in a 350°F pre-heated oven for 45 minutes. Take out the aluminum foil and top it with 1 cup of cheese. Bake again for 15 minutes. Let it cool down before serving.
