The Best Farm Adventure and Discoveries at Paradizoo

I would like to reminisce and share with you my “field trip” to Paradizoo. It is located in Mendez, Cavite, Philippines. This place is like a paradise with various farm animals and abundant flower farm. If you’re a nature lover, you’ll surely long to visit this place.

We traveled about an hour and half from Makati to Paradizoo. It was a sunny day when we visited the place but the cool breeze won’t make you sweat or feel hot at all.

The first thing that caught my attention when we arrived is their love for our environment. They recycled and reused things that most of us considered as trash. They put creativity out from simple raw materials. Take a look at these amazing ideas that you could also do at home…

The tour guide at Paradizoo is very nice and really knowledgeable in giving information on how to take care and feed the farm animals found there. She’s able to answer all the questions from our group.

What do I love about our tour? It’s our close encounter with those farm animals! Take a look…

The tour guide told us that some of the animals are bought from different countries and some are gifts. An example is the race horse that we found there, we were informed that a retired racer owned it and gave it to the owner of Paradizoo as a gift. And now, allow me to photo blog the animals I saw. Btw, you can also feed them (available but you have to pay for some amount) and take photos.

Another most unforgettable experience was milking the goat. It’s my first time! The tour guide had a demo first and then I volunteered to try. Tada!

Awesome! 🙂

Afterwards, we went to the beautiful flower farm…

And hey, they also have vegetable plants! According to the tour guide, they use these veggies at their restaurant, assuring everything’s fresh!

There’s also a short zip line but I didn’t try it because I have this phobia of heights. 🙂

Then, we head off to the butterflies and bees area…

And, they also have a pet cemetery. If you want your beloved pet who departed to be buried there, it costs from 3,500 pesos (around $72 USD) depending on the size of your pet.

30

Ooops, before I forgot, I also passed by some HUGE eggs (ostrich’s eggs).

29

It was a tiring, but super fun experience! I’ll go back in the near future with my kiddos. I’m sure they’ll enjoy it, too!
