MCDonald’s Secret Menu Revealed!

Good news especially to the McDonald’s fans out there! In this blog, I’ll be sharing with you the secret menu that you can order at McDonald’s.

What’s this secret menu all about? Simple, these are sets of menu that McDonald’s can offer to their customers which are not listed or showing from their overhead menu at their restaurants/food chains. How to? Just directly order at their cashiers and mention the secret menu that you would like to try. THAT’S IT!

So, here’s where you can choose from:

On Gaming and Trash Talks

I am a gamer since 2006. I’ve become addicted to FreeStyle Online Street Basketball Philippines and have been attending FSPH events and tournaments within Metro Manila (Philippines).  The funny part is, I am not fond of or really into watching basketball games (whether local or international) AT ALL. I just found that game sooo addicting. I spent a lot of (almost) sleepless nights at computer shops (‘coz I was just renting a house at Narnia). 🙂 I have strayed away from my life goals and it seems like there’s nothing I can do to possibly come back and make that time up. I’ve been addicted 101% on that game. I’m not a “pro” in this field, I am just hooked into the game.

I stopped playing that online game when I had kids. Priorities. Then I’ve found out that they removed FSPH and moved to an international server as FreeStyle 2. I don’t have the full (correct) details though.

Then, recently, my favorite game is back but now on smartphones! I was so excited! I thought to myself, I can play the game again wherever I am and even before I sleep, and still can do my daily routines and obligations. It’s named Freestyle 2 Basketball Hero.

It’s almost similar to the old FSPH, though there are still a lot of rooms for improvement. It’s been 3 seasons since I started playing this addictive game. I’ve been playing alone (without any guilds) until I’ve reached level 38. They said that max level is 50, though I am not sure of it yet. Then, about two weeks ago, I finally found a club to join!

The Drama and July 2017 Top Commenter of the Month Winner

Every year, we experience typhoon here in the Philippines. And now, it’s the time of the year when typhoon comes to “visit” us.

So, just last week, a typhoon came by which was named as “Gorio”. Classes from pre-school to college were suspended from Wednesday to Friday. Some parents got mad because the announcement of suspension of classes were delayed and most of the students were stranded in going home either because of flood or heavy traffic. Well, good for us that we did not experience this, HOWEVER, there’s another annoying thing that I’ve experienced…

Drama #1

On Wednesday, my aunt sent me a text message that our telephone has no dial tone. Our landline is one important communication tool for us because as a working mom, it’s me and my sons’ way to get in touch with each other. Our family members’ mobile numbers are stored in our telephone so that they can just press each number on whom my kids want to call or talk with, especially during “emergencies”. And, without dial tone, how can we communicate AT ANY MOMENT that we or they wanted to? They cannot borrow my aunt’s mobile anytime ‘coz she’s also using it and another thing is that, they are not allowed to because they often accidentally deletes either contacts or important messages. You know, KIDS!

So, I called our service provider’s customer service. I guess it took around 8-10 minutes before I get hold to talk to a CSR. I was hoping for a tech visit within the day but the schedule given was Friday. OKAY, looks like I don’t have a choice!

On Thursday, my aunt told me that the technician came and our telephone’s dial tone issue get fixed. Cool!

Drama #2

On Friday, I wasn’t able to go to office (also as advised by our HR) because of the strong typhoon and the wind was so mad too! And the bad thing? The dial tone went off again and this time also our INTERNET CONNECTION! Geez-a-whiz!!! That can’t be! How can I work from home if we don’t have internet service? Screwed! So, I called our service provider’s customer service AGAIN. But this time, it took 15-20 minutes before I get hold of a CSR. After some basic troubleshooting, my problem wasn’t fixed. He scheduled a tech visit for me. I asked him if it can be scheduled within the day ‘coz I badly needed to work, and he said yes.

I waited forever, no technician came.

How was I able to work? I stole a portion of our neighbor’s WIFI connection. (THIS IS NOT HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, LEARN TO ASK.) And yes, I’m just pretty much lucky that their WIFI is not password protected. I barely got internet service (in and out) being sooo close to my room’s window which is the nearest place I can setup to “get” connected. I “somehow” survived.

Drama #3

Saturday came, this is the day that you, my readers, are waiting for. Announcement of my giveaway winner! And the drama? My internet connection is not yet fixed and my neighbor’s WIFI is out. What’s left for me is my mobile which is only has a FREE Facebook access. Poor me!

And for one more time, I called for a technician. As the CSR checked my account, I’ve found out that the scheduled tech visit that was given to me isn’t last Friday but Monday! That’s insane! Giving false information to your subscribers isn’t just acceptable! And yes, of course, I was MAD. Who wouldn’t be? Then, as a resolution, tech visit was moved to Sunday. Okay, fine. It’s the earliest schedule that the CSR could give me.

I don’t have a choice but to send out an announcement on my Facebook page that the announcement will get delayed. (Really sorry guys!)

Sunday came, internet connection was finally fixed! But since it’s a family day, I spent the whole day with my kids and family, stayed at my mom’s house for almost the whole day after going to mass.

Facts that Nobody Told You

Today, I remind myself that when I remain calm , I can easily manage my thoughts , attitude and emotions. Things become clear and logical, and handling difficult or tense situation becomes less stressful.

The past 2 months have been very difficult for me. Those are my 60 days of nightmares. I almost took my life for being so depressed, afraid, and hopeless. I’ve battled with suicidal thoughts each day.

NOBODY TOLD ME that having friends are GEMS in life. Before, I thought I am okay without any friends. That I can live without them. That I can handle everything without having any close friends. But I was wrong. They are the ones who stick and stand by me during my darkest days. They never left me while I’m in that battle. Thinking about what they did for me, and just being there for me, makes the tears fall from my eyes. I WAS WRONG. It is truly NO MAN IS AN ISLAND. I love them. They are the best people in world. Without them, I’m probably gone…and my little kids will be left alone.

After all these realizations, I always include them in my prayers. I am so blessed and thankful to have them, because aside from my family who are always there for me no matter what, these friends…these closest friends that I have, they’ve shared their time just to be with me, to comfort me, to literally protect me and prayed for my safety.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Dear Friend,
I would like to pause for a minute to say THANK YOU. You listen when I have a problem. You catch me when I’m about to fall. You bring so much joy into my life. Thanks for being my friend through it all.
Love, Shari

There are a lot of things we should be thankful for and here’s my TOP 3:

  1. My life
  2. My family
  3. My friends

I’m so blessed! God is Good!

What about you?

Losing Someone You Love

This is one of my favorite songs to listen especially when I am alone, or at night, or whenever I feel incomplete. It’s written by  the American singer-songwriter, Jenn Bostic, which is composed for her father who died when she was a little girl. The song is released in 2012.

I find the song very powerful and emotional. It feels like your heart is being pricked with a pin in every word of the lyrics. I actually feel like crying every time I hear the song.

Losing someone in your life is really difficult. Shadows of the memories… The thought of not feeling or seeing that person or loved one EVER again… The sadness that feels like forever…

Here’s Donna Taggart’s version of the song:

Be Thankful to Your Mom

Moms are the BEST among the creations of God. She’s a superwoman.

I did not mind much about her existence until I became an adult, until I became a mom too. My mom is a woman like no other. She gave me life, nurtured me, held me, taught me, dressed me, fought for me, but most importantly, she loved me unconditionally. She’s not rich but we’ve never had food in our mouth, clothes to wear and shoes on our feet. My siblings and I are really blessed and thankful for her. There are not enough words I can say to describe just how important my mother is to me, and what a powerful influence she continues  to be.

We often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude. Let’s at least make our moms feel how thankful we are to have her on Mother’s Day. Treat her out for a dinner, watch a movie together, surprise her with a gift or give her a card/letter and express your thoughts and love for her.

Happy Mother’s Day to your mom!

AN OPEN (SHORT) LETTER FOR MY MOM:

I LOVE YOU, MOMMY!
